James Immanuel Damgaard Laugesen


Jim was welcomed into the presence of his Lord and Savior on August 8th, 2017.

Jim was born in Norre Snede, Denmark on March 25th 1928. He immigrated with his

family in 1958 and settled in the 91原创 area. He worked as an auto mechanic and opened the Esso Service

Station at Fraser and #10 highways in 1971. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Karen, daughter Beth, son John (Beverly), grandchildren David (Renee), Krista (Jonathan) and great

granddaughter Noelle.

A memorial service celebrating Jim鈥檚 life will be held Sunday September 17th, 2:30pm at 91原创 Evangelical Free Church, at the corner of 208 street

and 48th avenue.
