BROWN, Jack - 1920-2003 passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital on October 5th, 2003.
He leaves his wife Lois of 49 years, 3 sisters, 1 brother and their families.
Following his 6 years and 3 months in the army during WWII, Jack hauled logs, worked as a brakeman on the C.P.R. and as a miner in the Kootenay's. In the early 1950's he moved to Surrey where he built and sold houses and then formed his own real estate and insurance company, Midway Realty Ltd. He was president of the Regional Surrey Chamber of Commerce from 1966-1997. Jack found great pleasure in working on his recreational lot in Green Lake in the Caribou.
