December 23, 1922 - April 4, 2023
Irma passed away peacefully in her sleep in her 100th year. She and her husband, Ron, were long-time residents of Murrayville, where they lived on Old Yale Road, just up from PY Porter's general store. In 1989 they moved to Parkway Two, beside Douglas Park, where she remained after Ron passed away in 1991.
Her greatest moments of late have been sitting by the patio doors and listening to children laughing and playing in the schoolyard next door. Our many thanks go out to the care workers who assisted our mother, which allowed her to stay in her home, as well as the many residents of Parkway Two that went out of their way to make sure she was comfortable in her condo.
Irma is survived by a daughter, Pat (Norm), son Ted (Irene), grandchildren Shari (Sean), Dean (Luzelle), Tasha, Shanda and Danica (Jesse), great-grandchildren Colton, Madison, Chase, Bowen, Winston and Irie, and many nieces and nephews including Marie, Irene and Byron who maintained constant visits to help fill her days. We miss her already and are grateful we had her for as long as we did.
Peace be with you, Mom...
