It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Iris Emily Jensen (Parslow) nee Nelson on March 28, 2023, in 91原创, B.C.
Iris was born in Grande Prairie, AB, in April 1935.
Iris was predeceased by her father, Archie, her sister, Donna, and her brother, Gordon.
Iris is survived by her 3 children, Craig, Leigh (Rob), and Lorette (Carl). Also, her grandchildren, Darryl, Chris, and Dayton, and great-grandchildren, Archer and Addisen.
While raising her 3 children Iris worked for many years with the Edmonton Public School Board. Iris maintained a lifelong membership with the Royal Canadian Legion.
Iris moved to B.C. in 2004. Iris married Ron Jensen in Vancouver and spent many happy years until his sudden passing.
Iris will be missed by her family, including cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A service will not be held. A private celebration of life will take place later in the year in B.C.
