IAN JAMES COOKE

Ian James Cooke passed away in

Chilliwack on January 4, 2006 at the age of 70. He was born in Northholt, England on May 28, 1935.

Ian is survived by his wife Christina of 46 years, son Clive (Angela), son-in-law Dennis Yano of Vernon, grandchildren, Alicia, Holly, Thomas, Michael, Melissa, Rebecca and his brother Russell in England. He was predeceased by his daughter Sharon Yano in 2002.

He enjoyed sports, played soccer, was involved as a referee and loved to watch any sport. For many years, he was a service manager of RV's in England and Canada.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Henderson's with Major Angus Haggarty officiating. Donations may be made to the B.C. Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers.
