MABLEY, Horace Vincent

Horace Vincent Mabley, 94 of 91原创, British Columbia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, June 7, 2017 in the arms of his loving wife, Edie at their retirement home in 91原创. Horace was born on April 8, 1923 in Granum, Alberta to Warren and May Mabley.

He grew up and spent over 40 years in Alberta farming east of Calgary, before moving to Vancouver Island, British Columbia in 1965. He then became a bookkeeper and worked for 30 years at several car dealerships on the Island. After retiring they moved to Aldergrove, British Columbia area.

Horace married Edie Carlson on December 7, 1947 at Olds, Alberta. They were happily married for 69陆 years. He enjoyed gardening, reading, doing puzzles of all sorts. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Horace was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.

Horace is survived by his spouse Edie of 91原创, BC, his daughter Donna and husband Wayne Robertson of Mill Creek, WA, his son Allan and wife Margie of Okotoks, AB, and four grandsons Jonathan, Michael, Calvin and Matthew, also two half brothers Lonnie and Jerry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and May, sisters Erma and June, brother Jim, and half sister Sandy.

A Celebration of Horace's Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Church In The Valley, 23589 Old Yale Road, 91原创, BC
