Gerarda Johanna (Ann) Plankeel - June 7th, 1923 - April 1st, 2024 - passed away at Simpson Manor in Fort 91原创, a place she had once worked as a nurse in the 1960's. She always said she would live to be 100!

Ann was born in s'Hertogenbosch, Netherlands and worked as a nurse during the war before marrying and coming to Canada with her husband in 1950. They settled in the 91原创 area where they farmed for several decades.

She was predeceased by her husband Marinus Frederik (Dick) Plankeel 1922-1971, her daughter Diana (Di) Walker 1952-2021, and her sister Julia (Toos) van Norden 1919-2008.

Ann is survived by her son Ronald William (Elaine) Plankeel, daughters Betty Ann Whitney, and Marilyn (Garth) Gould, son-in-law Tom Walker, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
