George died peacefully at 91原创 Memorial Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased in 1995 by his first wife, Millie, he leaves to mourn his second wife Irene, son Gordon, daughters Diane (Howard), MaryEllen (Doug) and grandsons, Kris and Mike. He is also sadly mourned by Irene's family, daughters Margaret (Bert), Jacqueline (Steve), sons David (Wendy), Richard (Rebecca), grandson Steve (Chaundra), granddaughters Nicole, Tracy and Tammy, great-grandson, Jayden and great granddaugher Amanda. George's older brother Andy (Dianne), younger sister Mary (Rick) and their families share the grief of his passing, as do Millie's extended family members. Donations in George's honour may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of B.C. Services will be at St. Andrew's United Church, 9025 Glover Rd, Fort 91原创 on Thursday, Dec. 8th at 1:00 pm.
