It is with sadness the family of George Edward Barnett announce his passing on Saturday Nov 23, 2024.

George fought with great determination with serious health issues for many years. He leaves behind his wife and partner for 37 years, Margie, his sister Anne (Barry), his sons Clint and Jason, his Stepdaughter Karly and Stepson Brian, Grandchildren, Syla, Eli and Amelia.

George served as a member of the RCMP from June 1979 till April 2006. After retirement he worked for 5 years with the 91原创 Municipal Township as Court Liasson officer. It was his passion in Life and will be sorely missed by his RCMP family.

We will respect George's wishes, that there will be no service, but a small family gathering at a later date.

We would like to thank the many doctors and nurses of 91原创 and Abbotsford Hospitals for the wonderful and compassionate care shown to George for the last 7 months of his life. And many thanks to the wonderful friends who have reached out.
