It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on May 2, 2023, of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Elsie Erbacher (nee Braun) of Abbotsford, B.C., at the age of 94 years at the Al Hogg Pavilion in White Rock, B.C. Elsie was born in Arnaud, Manitoba, on April 17, 1929, and moved with her family to 91原创, B.C., in 1945.

In 1953, Elsie married Herbert Erbacher and lived in 91原创 and Abbotsford until his death in 1981. She was also predeceased by her beloved son Randy in 1995.

Elsie was an avid gardener and worked her entire life in the greenhouse industry. She retired from Houweling Nurseries in 1998. After retirement, Elsie joined the All Out Walking Club at Seven Oaks Mall in Abbotsford. She walked every morning and loved to take coffee with her friends after. She kept track of her miles and loved to boast she had walked across Canada and back and was almost to the Atlantic again! She was an avid country music fan and a devoted mother and grandmother with a great sense of humour as evidenced by her personalized licence plate "KOOL LC"!

Elsie is survived by her daughters Brenda (Peter), Deborah (Dave) and daughter-in-law Lori (Randy)(Brian). Also, seven grandchildren (Talia, Tara, Hayley, Whitney, Andrew, Carly, and Travis), six great-grandchildren, as well as a sister, Mary, brother Frank (Chrissie) and sister-in-law Sandy.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. Cremation interment with her beloved Herbert at 91原创 Lawn Cemetery.
