In Loving Memory ~

Elizabeth "Betty" Marina Skwarok (nee Greff) passed away on July 15th, 2024. She was well-loved by her friends and family; in her 89 years, she always sought out time and travel with loved ones.

Betty will be remembered for her love of birds, curling, and the Blue Jays. She was a BC Hall of Fame bowler, talented softball pitcher, excellent baker and crafter, and was a fierce competitor when playing cards or horseshoes. She was a loving mother, Grandma, and GG.

Betty is predeceased by her husband Mike and is remembered by her family: children Patrick (Eleanor) Skwarok, Donna (Kerry) McCullagh, and Ricky (Annette) Skwarok; granddaughters Casey McCullagh, Erin Skwarok, Karla McCullagh, Tara (Cody) Hendriksen, Krista (Chirag) Skwarok, and Ally Skwarok; great-grandchildren Libby and Richie Hendriksen.

Betty was born in Wishart, Saskatchewan November 27th, 1934, and grew up in New Westminster. She met Mike and they married on December 22nd, 1953, in Kamloops. They moved to 91原创 where they owned a service station at the corner of 248th and Fraser Highway.

Betty raised her three children here and worked beside her husband in the shop changing brakes and completing vehicle tune-ups. Betty was an active member of the community and lived in 91原创 for the remainder of her life. The family would like to include a special thank you to the staff at 91原创 Hospice for their care and compassion.

There will be no service at her request. The family would like to ask those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to the British Columbia Children's Hospital Foundation.
