ADSHEAD, DOUGLAS... Born September 26, 1939 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, died suddenly August 1, 2006 at 91原创 Memorial Hospital. He was predeceased by his son Bobby Douglas, father Norman and mother Margaret. He is survived by his loving and somewhat tolerant wife of 43 1/2 years... Marie. Also, his daughter,

Debbie (Rodney) Gettel, grandson Cooper Gettel and granddaughter Emerson Gettel. His son, Steve... they had many long hauls and good laughs together. Sister, Elaine Veal, aunts, nieces, nephews, great niece, and many cousins and relatives across Canada and the USA. After leaving McGee High School he did a 5 year stint in the Navy, he joined the BC Liquor board for 33 years. He taught many aspiring bowlers at Lougheed Lanes, Burnaby, made many friends at Pacific Press in and around 91原创. His jovial spirit will be missed...he did love to tease the girls at the White Spot on 264th and Safeway, Aldergrove. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. on September 1, 2006 at 3070 275A St., Aldergrove with a reception to follow.

LIFE'S A HIGHWAY

If life's a highway,

Then, our truck the vessel.

The endless white line a memory,

May it's brightness never fade,
