LIFE'S A HIGHWAY
If life's a highway,
Then, our truck the vessel.
The endless white line a memory,
May it's brightness never fade,
But, help me find my way
For in our truck you are and
In my heart you'll stay.
As the miles pass by, so does the line
But brighter it gets cause you were mine.
Though Dad you are gone, the line remains...
A symbol of the life we shared.
I know its length but I'm not scared
For when I awake you'll be there.
With your mug in hand and one for me,
''Coffee's Ready'' you will say,
''Hurry Up'' let's be on our way.
The line is waiting, the truck in aired...
Thanks Dad, I know you cared.
