In loving memory ~

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Clarice Norma Chambers (nee Jorgenson) on December 2nd, 2024, at the age of 95. Clarice was born and raised in Kelvington, Saskatchewan to Roy and Karlotte Jorgenson, and was the oldest of six children. Clarice married A. Glynn Chambers in Winnipeg and had 4 sons.

They enjoyed living in several locations throughout Canada and Europe during Glynn's 25-year service with the R.C.A.F.

They moved to Aldergrove when Glynn left the military until Glynn's passing in 1990 and at that time Clarice moved into 91原创. Clarice resided for the last 50 years total in the Aldergrove/91原创 area.

Clarice worked for Auld Philips/Susannes in the old Aldergrove mall and on Fraser Highway in downtown 91原创. Clarice was always kept busy with her family, work, and many hobbies. Knitting caps for newborn babies at the 91原创 Hospital, painting, baking and volunteering in period costume at the Fort in Fort 91原创 to name a few.

Clarice was the loving mother to David (Marilyn), Blair (Kathleen), Royce (Deborah), and Erling (Erin) and a cherished Grandma to 12 grandchildren and Great Grandma "G.G." to 14 great-grandchildren.

Mom always had a song to sing and was always involved with a choir. Mornings growing up always started with her singing us awake, which as a teen, was not always appreciated, but now will be dearly missed.

Clarice was predeceased by her loving husband, Glynn, her mother and father, Karlotte and Roy Jorgenson. Clarice is survived by her three sisters Thelma, Joyce, and Evelyn as well as her two brothers Russel and Calvin.

Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Service to be held at the United Churches of Canada, Murrayville. 21562 Old Yale Road, 91原创, BC on Friday, December 13th at 1 pm.

A special thank you to the staff on the 4th floor of the 91原创 Lodge who were so kind and helpful to our mom in the last years of her life.
