Bernie BELANGER

BELANGER, Bernie passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2003. After a hard fought battle with Parkinsons, Bernie, former long time resident of Fort 91原创, passed away at PV Manor in Armstrong with his loving wife and son Lee by his side. Born Jan. 21, 1921 in Coronation, Alta. he served in the R.C.A. 27th regiment from 1942-1946. He was predeceased by his father Joe and brother Gordon (1981) and his son Bernie (1985). Left to carry on his legacy are, his wife, friend and partner of more than 65 years and love of his life Ethel, sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Allan (Pat) of Calgary, Al's daughters Pam (Jim) of Maida Vale, England, Cheryl (Kelly) of Airdre, Alta., Bernie Jr.'s kids, Greg (marilyn) their children, Jacqueline, Jeanette and Derik all of Abbotsford, Brian of Kamloops his daughter Brylee, Garrett of Surrey, Nicole of Vancouver, Lee (Francine) of Armstrong, their sons, Taylor (Carla) of Vernon, Darcy (special friend Sarah) and Michael of Armstrong. He also leaves behind his sister Georgina, brother Eldon (Eileen) and many nieces, nephews and other extended family. A service of remembrance will be held on Sept. 6th from 1-4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall 26607 Fraser Hwy., Aldergrove. Those wishing to do so may make donations to the Parkinsons society of the charity of your choice.
