Port Moody police are not ruling out criminality after a woman was found dead in the water on Wednesday (Jan. 1).
Police were called to the Reed Point Marina wharf, just after 9 a.m. on Jan. 1, for a report of a deceased person in the water. The body, a woman in her 60s, was pulled from the water with the help of the Canadian Coast Guard.
Acting Sgt. Sam Zacharias said the department's major crime detectives are in the evidence-gathering stage, and

However, Zacharias added that 鈥渋nitial information suggests the incident is isolated in nature."
