If you care what SkyTrain stations look like on , now is your time to speak up.
Eight stations are planned, and B.C. transportation officials are now looking for public feedback focused on their design, including station entrances and adjacent plazas.
From June 18 to 30, four in-person open houses are planned in Surrey and 91原创, along with . Also online is a .
The feedback is sought for what鈥檚 hyped as 鈥渢he first major transit project south of the Fraser River in 30 years.鈥 Major construction on the Surrey-91原创 SkyTrain extension is expected to begin this year, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure promises.
Years from now, passengers on the transit line will be able to travel between 91原创 City and Surrey Centre in around 22 minutes, and between 91原创 and downtown Vancouver in just over an hour.

For the new SkyTrain stations, 鈥減ublic feedback will be compiled and considered in finalizing station designs as part of the municipal design advisory process,鈥 . This fall, another round of public engagement will involve landscaping and public art.
From Surrey to 91原创, the new station names and locations are Green Timbers (140 Street and Fraser Highway), 152 Street (152 Street and Fraser Highway), Fleetwood (160 Street and Fraser Highway), Bakerview-166 Street (166 Street and Fraser Highway), Hillcrest-184 Street (184 Street and Fraser Highway), Clayton (190 Street and Fraser Highway), Willowbrook (196 Street and Fraser Highway) and 91原创 City Centre (203 Street and Fraser Highway).
This month, the four design open houses are Tuesday, June 18 at Hope Community Church (3-7 p.m., 18625 Fraser Highway, Surrey), on Thursday, June 20 at Hampton Inn and Suites (3-7 p.m., 19500 91原创 Bypass, Surrey), on Saturday, June 22 at Fleetwood Community Centre (11 a.m. to 3 p.m., 15996 84 Ave., Surrey) and Wednesday, June 26 at Coast 91原创 City Hotel and Convention Centre (3-7 p.m., 20393 Fraser Highway, 91原创).
