Jason Wallace has been sentenced to six years in jail and received a lifetime firearms prohibition for his involvement in a large drug-making operation in 91原创.
Wallace, 27, was in B.C. Supreme Court in New Westminster on Thursday to learn his fate. Last spring, he pleaded guilty to six counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
The charges stem from a July 2014 arrest, when B.C.鈥檚 gang unit shut down a large drug-making facility based out of a rural 91原创 mansion.
Wallace has been linked to the 856 gang, which got its name from the Aldergrove phone prefix of 鈥�856鈥�.
During the bust, the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit seized $400,000 worth of cocaine, meth, heroin, and a large quantity of drug-making paraphernalia from a 10,000-square-foot home in the 4600 block of 236 Street.
The house had been turned into a drug-making operation, with cocaine and buffer, weigh scales, baggies and brick-pressing machines all around the house. One of the buffers seized by police included pig dewormer, which was believed to be mixed into the drugs.
On the day police executed the warrant, two men were arrested in connection to the drug house. One of those was Wallace. Neither man was charged until 2015.
Wallace is already behind bars, charged in the murder of high-ranking Hells Angel Robert Green, who was shot and killed at a 91原创 property in October 2016.
Wallace is set to appear in a Surrey courtroom Nov. 20 for a preliminary hearing in connection with the murder charge.
A preliminary hearing determines whether there is enough evidence to go to trial and to examine the evidence in the case. The information in the hearing is banned from publication.
