Kwantlen Polytechnic University honoured two of B.C.鈥檚 favourite hockey players at its convocation ceremony in Surrey on Thursday. Daniel and Henrik Sedin are receiving their honorary degrees.
The Canucks were given their honorary degrees by KPU president and vice-chancellor Dr. Alan Davis, 鈥渇or the citizenship, sportsmanship, civility, respect, and care they demonstrate both on and off the ice鈥 here in B.C.

The twins were touched.
鈥淲e had a lot of fun this morning,鈥 said Henrik. We鈥檝e never been a part of anything like this.鈥
WATCH: SEDINS GIVE CONVOCATION ADDRESS
Post-convocation talk quickly turned to the Canucks鈥 on-ice performance.
鈥淲e want to focus on having a better season [next year] than the last year,鈥 said Henrik, noting that they were not thinking past next year 鈥 the final year of their contract in Vancouver.
鈥淚t鈥檚 dangerous if you think too far ahead.鈥
The Sedins did have some advice for this year鈥檚 KPU graduates.
鈥淚t鈥檚 about treating other people how you want to be treated yourself,鈥 said Daniel. 鈥淛ust be nice.鈥
They demonstrated that with a quick selfie with reporter and KPU student Joseph Keller.
But first, lemme take a selfie: Sedin twins took a quick post-convocation photo with reporter Joseph Keller
