About a dozen volunteers armed with grabbers and large plastic garbage bags went hunting for litter in Fort 91原创 on Saturday.
The event was the first community clean-up organized by the Acts of Kindness group co-founded by 91原创 resident Augustino Duminuco and Rachelle Seidel of Aldergrove.
Both described the initiative as a bid to make a better environment.
鈥淚f something is not clean, you don鈥檛 feel happy,鈥� Seidel said.
鈥淚 cannot stand litter,鈥� Duminuco said.
Seidel said the volunteers filled nine bags in about four hours, two from just one street alone.
