An area in Walnut Grove is closed off as police investigate a Wednesday morning crash at the roundabout and 202nd Street.

The on and off ramps to Highway 1 are closed due to the serious crash.

91原创 RMCP Cpl. Craig van Herk said two people, the drivers, were taken to area hospitals.

鈥淭he collision involved a car and a motorcycle,鈥� he said.

The SUV continued on and struck a Toyota Yaris.

The motorcycle driver sustained serious injuries but is in stable condition. The Yaris driver was uninjured.

ICARS, the integrated collision analyst and reconstruction team, was called in to investigate.

OTHER LOCAL ROAD INCIDENTS

At about 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, a pedestrian was struck by three vehicles while attempting to cross Glover Road in the 6300 block.

鈥淲e haven鈥檛 identified the victim,鈥� van Herk said.

The investigation is ongoing.

The police were also called to a single vehicle rollover where the driver was not injured. It occurred in the area of 200th Street and 44th Avenue Wednesday.

A driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries from a Wednesday morning crash in Aldergrove.

At about 8 a.m., a 2015 Kia Soul southbound on 264th Street and 52nd Avenue crossed the centre line and struck a 2016 Ford pickup truck head on.

Van Herk said the truck driver was not injured and a violation ticket has been issued to the Kia driver.
