A 42-year-old Surrey man has been charged in relation to a homicide on Aug. 24 in Surrey.
Paul Martin has been charged with second-degree murder in connection to the sudden death of a man inside a residence in the 19100 block of 68 Avenue. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) on Friday (Sept. 1) identified the victim as Robb Memory of Surrey.
鈥淩obb was a caring and generous person. The family appreciates the hard work and dedication of IHIT,鈥 stated Robb鈥檚 father, Cecil Memory in a statement.
IHIT stated Memory was likely killed on Aug. 24, but first responders found him several days later 鈥渄eceased suffering from injuries consistent with homicide.鈥
Martin remains in police custody awaiting his court appearance on Sept 5, according to online court records.
