The 14-year-old who went missing Monday has been found.
91Ô´´ RCMP are thanking the media and public for their assistance in locating missing 14-year-old Tyson Lowe.
Police on Tuesday morning that he was missing and asked for public assistance. As a result, an astute member of the public contacted the 91Ô´´ RCMP regarding a suspicious youth in her neighbourhood. The description provided was a close match to that of the missing youth.
General Duty officers responded and with the assistance of the caller were able to locate the youth a short distance away. Moments later, officers were able to confirm that it was in fact Tyson Lowe, the missing 14-year-old. This brought the matter to a successful conclusion.
He had gone missing after being dropped off by his mom at 91Ô´´ Secondary School on Monday morning. Lower Mainland Police Dog Services attended, however a track could not be established due to the high volume of foot traffic. Officers interviewed all of the youths’ known friends and associates and canvassed businesses he was known to frequent.
Fraser Valley Search and Rescue was called out and were en route to 91Ô´´ area when the member of the public contacted 91Ô´´ RCMP.
