The City of 91原创 will host another public information meeting about the Roberts Bank Rail Corridor Project and proposed 196 Street overpass and road project.
It will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 23 at Nicomekl Elementary school, beginning at 7 p.m.
Unlike the two open houses held last December, this one will include a formal presentation, beginning right at 7 p.m., said City engineer Gary Vlieg.
鈥淚t鈥檚 important that people, if they don鈥檛 want to miss anything, be there on time,鈥 he said.
The 45-minute presentation, by the City and a number of the other partners involved in the project, will detail the history of the project to date, as well as the options that were looked at.
It will include a discussion of traffic volumes, truck routes, and what is being done to address some of the concerns raised at the two previous meetings.
The overall project includes three separate overpasses of the railway line 鈥 at 192 Street, 54 Avenue and 196 Street. The third overpass will cross the 91原创 Bypass and connect to 196 Street at 60 Avenue.
The presentation will include roughly 50 slides, with a Q&A period afterward.
Council will be there and mayor is chairing the meeting, Vlieg said.
