Black swastikas were spray painted on houses and vehicles in a Fort 91原创 neighbourhood over the weekend.
91原创 RCMP confirm that at least two vehicles and some houses were hit with the Nazi anti-Semitic symbol on Friday night or early Saturday morning.
The graffiti took place on Trattle Street and another neighbouring road, both near the 91原创 Fine Arts School.
鈥淲e have no suspects and no witnesses,鈥 said 91原创 RCMP spokesperson Const. Craig van Herk. 鈥淲e don鈥檛 have any information so it鈥檚 difficult to say what the intent was. We don鈥檛 usually get that kind of graffiti, so it is something we are investigating.鈥
Van Herk said police did some door-to-door inquiries to see if anyone saw anything or has information, but no leads have turned up yet.
鈥淚f anyone has information about these incidents we would appreciate them calling us,鈥 he said.
The last reported incident of swastika graffiti in 91原创 was during the November, 2011 election, when mayoral signs were defaced.
