Surrey RCMP is requesting the public鈥檚 assistance in the wake of a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on Monday night (May 27) in the Cloverdale area of Surrey.
At approximately 4:40 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a fatal crash at the intersection of Highway 10 (56 Avenue) and 184 Street.
An Acura sedan was westbound on Highway 10, executing a southbound, left turn onto 184 Street, when it was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup travelling eastbound on Highway 10., according to an RCMP release.
The subsequent collision caused significant damage to both vehicles.

The drivers of both the Acura and the Dodge Ram were taken to local area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
The passenger of the Acura suffered catastrophic injury and was declared deceased at the scene by BC Emergency Health Services.
All parties remained at scene and are co-operating with the investigation. Alcohol has been ruled out as a contributing factor. The investigation is still in the early stages, the release notes.
