Outdoor enthusiasts, and all those who feel the need for vitamin D, have suffered through a gloomy late winter and early spring.

The amount of wet stuff that fell on Metro Vancouver, including 91Ô´´, last month made it among the top wettest March’s in the past 80 years.

April hasn’t been much better.

Along with cooler-than-usual temperatures, the rainfall totals in April have far exceeded the monthly average for the region.

The week is shaping up to continue the pattern, with the showing a steady stream of cloudy, mostly wet days ahead.
