He asked her for a cigarette and when she said no, he produced a knife and robbed her.
Now, 91原创 RCMP have released a police sketch of the man responsible for the Feb. 24 mugging.
A spokesperson for the detachment said a woman was walking home with her groceries along a path running parallel to the Fraser Highway just west of 265A Street around 2 p.m. when a man approached her and asked for a cigarette,
When she refused, he pulled a knife.
He then reached into her pocket, and took a sum of money and the groceries she was carrying before he fled.
The suspect is described as a thin 6鈥3鈥 Caucasian, 30 to 40 years old with crooked yellow teeth and medium length brown hair.
He was wearing dark clothing, possibly a 鈥渕ac鈥 jacket and he appeared 鈥渧ery dirty鈥 police said.
