91原创 RCMP have issued a call for information about the Jan. 6, 2011 fire that destroyed the Fort 91原创 IGA store.
The Wednesday written statement said investigators 鈥渁re hopeful there has been 鈥榮cuttlebutt鈥� over the last two years and the arsonist may now be identified.鈥�
Broken glass and severed metal bars on the north side of the building suggest an attempted break-in may have actually started the fire, police said.
The investigation by the 91原创 RCMP Street Enforcement Unit was described as being 鈥渁ctive.鈥�
A new IGA store was built to replace the destroyed building.
Anyone with information that might assist police with the IGA investigation is asked to call 91原创 RCMP at 604-532-3200 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.
