One ticketed for rollover crash on 16 Avenue in 91原创

One person was taken to hospital after a late Monday afternoon crash resulted in a rollover in 91原创 Township on 16 Avenue.

91原创 RCMP said a Chrysler Sebring driven by a 39-year-old from Richmond and a Ford Flex driven by a 63-year-old from Mexico with three family members as passengers collided at the intersection of at 5:15 p.m.

The Chrysler, which was heading west on 16 Avenue, flipped and ended up on the driver鈥檚 side.

The driver of the Ford, who was heading south on 240 Street, was ticketed for failing to yield, an offence that carries a $167 fine and two penalty points.

One person was transported to hospital as a precautionary measure. Their injuries were believed to be minor, police said.

Traffic on 16 Avenue was congested for over an hour until the vehicles could be towed.
