Police say one man was arrested after police seized a large amount of drugs and firearms from a Surrey home.
Police say the Surrey RCMP Drug Unit, the Lower Mainland Integrated Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the Surrey Gang Enforcement Team (SGET) executed a search warrant at a home on Nov. 4 in the 16700-block of 109 Avenue, in Surrey鈥檚 Fleetwood neighbourhood.
A 24-year-old man was arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking, Surrey RCMP say. At the time of his arrest, he had a warrant out of Saskatchewan and was transferred to Regina.
Police say the drug seizure included large quantities of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine. Included among the seized firearms were a carbine rifle, three handguns and several high-capacity magazines.
