One man is dead and another was critically injured in what police are saying was a domestic dispute that ended in a shooting at a home on Glover Road early Saturday morning.

Five people were arrested at the scene, four men and one woman, believed to be between the ages of 17 to 22 years old.

Around 2:30 a.m. 91原创 RCMP responded to a 911 call about a domestic dispute at a home in the 6400 block of Glover Road. When they arrived, five people were standing outside the home and inside was heavily doused with bear spray, said Integrated Homicide Investigation Team Sgt. Jennifer Pound.

Two men were inside the home, one had already died from gun shot wounds and the other was critically injured, said Pound.

The deceased man's name and age won't be released until police notify next of kin. IHIT investigators were on the scene on Saturday morning, interviewing neighbours and gathering evidence from the home.

Pound said they are now determing what relationship each of the people arrested had to the murdered and injured man. She didn't know whether the two lived in the home or not.
