VIDEO: Electric scooter crash closes 56th Avenue in 91Ô­´´

Collision leaves one man being treated for injuries by firefighters

A crash involving an electric scooter closed down 56th Avenue near 200th Street in 91Ô­´´ City on Wednesday, July 12.

The crash took place around noon, just east of 200th Street, and involved a car and an electric scooter styled to resemble a motorcycle.

91Ô­´´ City firefighters were on scene tending to one man, the scooter rider, who was lying in the street after the collision.

The rider appeared conscious.

91Ô­´´ RCMP were on scene as well, confirmed Cpl. Craig Van Herk, spokesperson for the local detachment.
