Missing Coquitlam woman spotted on video in Abbotsford

The Coquitlam RCMP is asking for the public鈥檚 help to locate a missing 42-year-old woman who was seen on video surveillance in Abbotsford on Monday (Oct. 28).

Angela Ekkert was previously seen Sunday, Oct. 27 leaving a Coquitlam designated facility on foot at approximately 11 a.m.

She was then seen on video surveillance in the area of West Georgia Street and Howe Street in Vancouver on Monday, Oct. 29 at 8:23 a.m.

The video of her in Abbotsford was taken in the area of Gladwin Road and South Fraser Way at 10:10 a.m., also on Monday. She was wearing a black jacket and a white cross-body purse and was carrying a black shopping bag.

Ekkert is described as five-foot-five with short brown hair, hazel eyes and a medium build.

Family are concerned for her well-being, police said.

Anyone who has seen Ekkert or has information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2024-28517
