UPDATE: The Abbotsford Police Department reports that Colin Davies was located safe in Vancouver on Tuesday night (Dec. 10). Police say an alert citizen spotted him and contacted police. Davies and his dogs are now reunited with his family.

The Abbotsford Police Department is asking for the public's help in trying to locate a missing 81-year-old man who has dementia.
Police say Colin Davies was seen at 6:45 p.m. Monday (Dec. 9) in the 31000 block of Westridge Place in Abbotsford and was then reported to be in his vehicle at the intersection of Gladwin and Downes roads at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday.
He was driving a grey 2009 Ford Escape with B.C. plate 063 LKF and had the family's two dogs with him in the vehicle.
Davies was last seen wearing a blue-and-white jacket with "Jaguar" written on it, jeans, black boots and a blue fedora-style hat with a feather.
Police say he is not from the Abbotsford area and may be travelling within the Lower Mainland.
Anyone who spots Davies is asked to stay with him, call police and wait for officers to arrive.
