A 91原创 girl has one special holiday wish this season 鈥� to help bring smiles and toys to sick kids.

Eight-year-old Aubrielle Bibeau is selling her drawings to raise money to buy toys for kids at the BC Children鈥檚 Hospital for the third year in a row.

Aubrielle鈥檚 mom Lizsa Bibeau explained her daughter鈥檚 idea sparked when Aubrielle was just six years old and asked if she could sell her drawings to raise money for sick kids.

鈥淪he has a big heart and she wants to give and help others. She knows that there鈥檚 other people who aren鈥檛 as fortunate as she is and there aren鈥檛 always kids that have toys and there鈥檚 sick kids that don鈥檛 have their health like she does. She鈥檚 aware of how fortunate she is,鈥� said Lizsa.

Aubrielle increases her goal each year, and this year she hopes to reach $1,100.

In the first year, Aubrielle raised $800, and last year she raised $1,056.

鈥淪he鈥檚 determined, she鈥檚 motivated,鈥� added Lizsa.

鈥淭here鈥檚 no words for how proud I am and how much it鈥檚 grown.鈥�

With a few days to deadline on Dec. 7, Aubrielle is a couple hundred dollars away from hitting her monetary goal, and has collected 107 donated toys.

This Saturday, Aubrielle is going to Toys R鈥� Us in Willowbrook Mall to shop for toys for BC Children鈥檚 Hospital.
