Can鈥檛 afford to get into the housing market in 91原创?

91原创 Animal Protection Society has a deal for you.

On Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., LAPS will unveil The Mews at ISOasis, a condo project for cats. Come view condo complex presentation centre at the Patti Dale Shelter in Aldergrove.

Jamie Schreder, of Schreder Brothers Real Estate Group with Royal LePage Wolstencroft, has a soft spot for LAPS and jumped on board, bringing his real estate expertise to this tongue-and-cheek fundraiser.

鈥淣ow鈥檚 your opportunity to invest in this state-of-the-art building,鈥 quipped Schreder.

鈥淛okes aside, I鈥檓 excited to be participating. We will be writing offers, and walking donors through their options, which will include the opportunity to purchase upgrades and even leave with the keys to your new condo.鈥

Of course, LAPS has put together the purr-fect video to accompany the fundraiser. View it here or on their Facebook page. This fundraising campaign looks to complete the cat condos with the required furnishings for their state-of-the-art feline isolation building named, ISOasis which is a play on 鈥榠solation鈥 and 鈥榦asis鈥.

The ISOasis project has been a few years in the making and has been made possible through donations from the community and funding from the Township of 91原创. LAPS gala raised thousands of dollars for the cat facility.

鈥淲e are very grateful for all of the support we have received to date,鈥 says Jayne Nelson, executive director for LAPS. Funding is in place for LAPS to break ground soon and complete the build this summer.

But there are few finishings that will make life at the ISOasis cat-tastic, said Nelson.

The ISOasis will provide much needed space for the care of sheltered cats and kittens in the community. This purpose-built facility will be located adjacent to their main shelter and will provide dedicated isolation space, cat condos, an intake room, and more to enhance the quality of life, reduce the time from intake to adoption, and limit the spread of feline-related diseases.

There are 12 condo spaces that will be 鈥渇or sale鈥 on May 6. Proud owners get naming room rights and their own keepsake keys.

This Sunday, April 30, LAPS hosts its second Furry Tail Foot Race through Derby Reach Park.
