Air quality across the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver has not been impacted by drifting L.A. wildfire smoke – and it's not expected to be, according to Metro Vancouver officials.

Officials noted in a Jan. 14 tweet on X that the Lower Mainland is not currently experiencing degraded air quality from the devastating California wildfires in the past week.

"Air quality continues to be very good throughout the region," according to the Metro Vancouver update.
