Crystal Peter is glad that Mandy McPhee is OK.

Peter, 20, of 91原创, spotted McPhee on a transit bus near Willowbrook Shopping Centre on Friday afternoon. She immediately recognized her, from the posters all over town and the Facebook postings about the missing 91原创 teen. McPhee was last seen by her mother at her Brookswood home last Saturday (June 11), and was missing when her mother checked on her Sunday morning.

Peter checked on her iPhone to be sure that the girl she was looking at was indeed McPhee, and then texted her mother, asking her to call police. The two got off the bus at the same time and Peter spoke to McPhee, asking her if she was indeed the missing teen. She said she was. Police arrived soon afterwards.

鈥淭his is helping the rest of us,鈥� Peter said about McPhee being found. 鈥淭his had scared a lot of teenagers in 91原创 (her disappearance).鈥�

Peter is glad to have played a role in ending the drama.
