Fort 91原创 developer Eric Woodward says he is considering running for mayor of the Township of 91原创 in the Oct. 20 election.

In a video interview with Fiona Forbes 鈥� which Woodward posted to his on Wednesday 鈥� Woodward said he is 鈥渄efinitely thinking about it.鈥�

鈥淚鈥檝e been attending council meetings for almost seven years now, and from what I see we can be doing things a lot better than we are,鈥� he said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 not that there鈥檚 some kind of disaster or anything like that 鈥� we can do things better.鈥�

Through his experience with development in Fort 91原创, Woodward said he believes public consultation should be done from the beginning of developments. In particular, he said, development in Aldergrove, Brookswood and Willoughby 鈥渃an be done a lot better than it is.鈥�

Woodward also said he would most likely not run for council, but will announce his final decision for the mayor鈥檚 race by the end of the summer.
