Chris McKenzie, a fellow park resident, said the woman drove to what is normally a grass field and 鈥渄idn鈥檛 realize the amount of water鈥 that had accumulated as she started down the slope.

鈥淪he couldn鈥檛 stop or didn鈥檛 know what to do and eventually, the car just floated out into the lake,鈥 McKenzie recounted.

Her vehicle ended up half submerged. While he said she was shook up, she was okay. Firefighters directed her to stay in her car until they were able to get to her and help her to safety.
