Delays expected on Highway 91, Alex Fraser Bridge after crash and stall

Both the crash and the stall are clear, but delays persist

Delays are expected for drivers using the Alex Fraser Bridge and Highway 91 Wednesday morning (Sept. 4) after a crash and subsequent stall.

DriveBC posted to X (formerly Twitter) that the crash, causing major delays in both directions, was clear around 7:42 a.m. Shortly after, DriveBC reported a stall with a southbound vehicle. That has also been cleared.

Traffic remained backed up in all directions around 8:30 a.m.

The crash was first reported just before 6 a.m.

A traffic camera picture posted by DriveBC showed at least seven vehicles involved in the crash, with emergency crews needing to block lanes in both directions.
