On Saturday, March 10 plan to register for the Healthy Community Challenge and get started on the road to a healthier lifestyle.
The Healthy Community Challenge is a free 90-day initiative intended to inspire and motivate people throughout the province to take steps toward better health and well-being. Mayor Fassbender has taken on the challenge and enthusiastically weighed in for a friendly competition with the mayors of the Cities of Abbotsford, Coquitlam and Surrey — their results will be measured after 90 days to determine who benefitted most from this challenge.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to bring activity back into their lives, get out and enjoy the community and maybe even win some prizes.
City of 91Ô´´ residents will be competing as a community against the residents of Abbotsford, Coquitlam and Surrey to prove that the City of 91Ô´´ is the healthiest community of them all. Registration and participation are free and participants will have access to a wealth of information, tips and motivational support throughout the 90-day challenge.
