The City of 91原创 has selected a new service provider to promote tourism opportunities in the community.
On Wednesday afternoon the City announced it has selected the Downtown 91原创 Business Association to fill that role.
In late June, the City , which had previously provided services for both the City and the Township, noting at the time that the move was prompted by the uncertainty surrounding the organization.
鈥淎fter consulting with City tourism accommodation service providers, 91原创 City Council concluded that it was in the best interest of the City鈥檚 tourism sector to select a new service provider,鈥 the municipality announced in a press release on Wednesday.
A request for proposals (RFP) was posted on BC Bid and 91原创 City Council selected the Downtown 91原创 Business Association (DLBA) as the service provider.
鈥91原创 City Council is delighted to partner with the Downtown 91原创 Business Association to provide tourism services on behalf of 91原创 City,鈥 said mayor Ted Schaffer.
