Cherry trees gone

A school district employee prepares to install new plants in front of West 91原创 Elementary School on Wednesday. Cherry trees were removed because the roots could cause the sidewalk to crack and pose a tripping hazard. Some bushes with sharp thorns were also replaced with other plants for safety reasons. New trees will be planted to replace the cherry trees.
