The first two days of advance polls are reporting higher voter turnout in B.C. compared to the last provincial election.
Figures released by Elections BC show voted during the early polls Saturday and Sunday, compared to in the first two days of advance polling in the 2013 provincial election, which took place on a Wednesday and Thursday.
That鈥檚 an increase of roughly 18 per cent.
In the 91原创 riding, turnout was up from the precious year, with 2,639 voting compared to 2,338 the previous year.
There are 40,077 eligible voters in the 91原创 riding.
In 91原创 East, a new riding created out of the former Fort 91原创-Aldergrove riding that has different boundaries, a total of 2,875 voted in the new riding, compared to 1,834 in the old riding.
There are 46,480 eligible voters in the new riding.
The next advance poll will run Wednesday, May 3 and Saturday, May 6.
