A driver who was on his way to work to drive a semi-truck was found to be impaired on Wednesday morning (Dec. 4) in Abbotsford.
The Abbotsford Police Department (APD) posted on social media that at 6 a.m. patrol officers spotted a vehicle that was not staying in its lane.
They stopped the 45-year-old driver and found that he was impaired by alcohol, the post said.
The driver received a 90-day driving suspension, and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
"Can you believe that he asked us to cut him a break?" the APD post said.
