Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you wanted to be a part of the Guinness World Record for 鈥榣argest human mattress dominoes鈥� or the 鈥榣ongest head massage chain,鈥� you鈥檝e missed your chance. Thankfully, Sheila鈥檚 Catering is hosting a Guinness World Record setting event closer to home 鈥� and participating will be delicious, as well as historic.
鈥淗辞蝉迟颈苍驳 is a dream come true,鈥� says Wes Levesque, director of operations for Sheila鈥檚 Catering Co. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a wonderful way to showcase our community in White Rock and support local charities while having a ton of fun.鈥�
On Sept. 2, the Sheila鈥檚 Catering team will build a sprawling 500 foot long charcuterie board on the White Rock Pier, under the watchful eye of official Guinness World Record representatives. 1,200 lucky guests will then get to dive in and enjoy the eye-popping selection of gastronomic delights, all while participating in this historic event.
4 ways to support Charcuterie on the Pier
- Attend: Buy tickets to the experience, and bring your friends! Choose your time slot and your ticket tier at . All tickets include access to a fresh section of the food on the board, with proceeds supporting Sources Food Banks, Friends of the Pier and the Semiahmoo Rotary Club.
- Donate: On Sep. 2 you鈥檒l be able to purchase tickets to the Charcuterie on the Pier raffle, offering unique culinary experiences from With The Chef, and more. The City of White Rock has donated the venue space at White Rock Pier and neighbouring Memorial Park.
