Labour Day might be on the horizon, but if you鈥檙e not quite ready to say goodbye to summer, 91原创 City has the solution: a busy calendar of events with the whole family in mind!

1. Sounds of Summer: Head to Wednesday, Aug. 29 for the final Pop-Up Play of summer. The free, interactive, outdoor drop-in play group features crafts, big board games to play, puzzles to complete, colouring and more!

Return to the Plaza from 7 to 8 p.m. Aug. 29 for the final performance of this year鈥檚 Sounds of Summer concert series. Each week features a different Lower Mainland artist and genre of music in this fun, family-friendly event.

2. Sensational Summer Movies: We can鈥檛 close out summer without one more free outdoor Summer Movie in the Park. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to 91原创鈥檚 Sept. 14 to catch Ferdinand (rated PG) on the big screen. The fun begins at 7:30 p.m. with the movie starting at dusk.

3. Celebrate City Park! Head to Sept. 20 and join 91原创 City in celebrating the new playground, waterpark and field upgrades, with live entertainment, fun activities and food options available for purchase from 4 to 7 p.m. Wondering what鈥檚 coming next? City staff will also offer a sneak peek at what the city has planned next for the space!

4. Salute to local artists: Celebrate the arts in 91原创 with the Art Crawl in Downtown 91原创 City Sept. 29 and 30! Enjoy exhibiting and demonstrating local artists in local businesses, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. 5. Sign up to play: Keep the fun going right through fall with a favourite activity or brand new experience through 91原创 City Recreation. Belly Dance or Ballroom Dance? Pickleball or Parkour?
