Community has been at the heart of since the store first opened in 1973, and 50 years later the Nufloors team is still finding ways to support the people of 91原创.

鈥淲e participate in a variety of different fundraisers, sponsor local groups and have participated in community initiatives like Acts of Kindness in the past,鈥� says Owner, Nick Kaplanis. 鈥淭his past October, we hosted the for a special adopt-a-pet event and presented them with a $500 donation to help them in their efforts to help 91原创 animals in need.鈥�

Heading into the holiday season Nufloors is launching a new fundraising initiative with . Starting on Monday, Nov. 20, Nufloors is selling Canadian Safety Supplies First Aid kits with a portion of the proceeds going to the hospital.

鈥淔or our new partnership with Canadian Safety Supplies and BC Children鈥檚 Hospital we鈥檒l be taking orders in-store for first aid kits, and we鈥檒l also have a sample kit available so our customers can see what comes in the kits themselves,鈥� Kaplanis says.

Nufloors is a long-time supporter of BC Children鈥檚 Hospital fundraisers, donating more than $49,700 to the Hospital Foundation over the years.

鈥淭he BC Children鈥檚 Hospital is the only hospital in the province devoted entirely to the care of B.C.鈥檚 sickest and most seriously injured children,鈥� Kaplanis says. 鈥淭heir specialized care is invaluable to our province and our communities, and we鈥檙e excited to continue our efforts to support them.鈥�

Nufloors encourages customers to come in and purchase a Canadian Safety Supplies - First aid kit over the next few months or to consider donating directly to the BC Children鈥檚 Hospital .
